‘Jujutsu Kaisen 0’: Stream the anime on Crunchyroll in September

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 hit Japanese theaters in 2021 before landing on US screens in March 2022, but you might be looking forward to watching the previous film at home. Cartoon Fans will have to wait until next year for the new season of the anime series, but the film is making its streaming debut in North America on Crunchyroll September 21.

Produced by Mappa Studios and Toho Animation, the film is based on the manga series by Gege Akutami and follows Yuta Okkotsu, a cursed young high school student. After the death of her friend Rika Orimoto, Yuta is haunted by her spirit and struggles with grief and loneliness. His path leads him to sorcery as a means of controlling Rika, whose presence often saves him or puts him in precarious situations.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 isn’t the only movie coming to Crunchyroll this month. The streaming service also announced that it will be adding a new movie every Thursday in September. Titles include The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (September 15), Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic (September 15), and High Speed! Free! Departure days (September 22). Movies with Haru and Rin from Free! Timeless Medley, including The Bond, The Promise and Road to the World: The Dream, will air on September 22. Fans can also check out the Code Geass movies on September 29.
