ABC13, the ABC-owned station in Houston, is on the hunt for its next lead multiplatform marketing producer.
Do you know good news when you see it? Along with a great content instinct, we’re looking for someone who thinks outside the box with creative storytelling.

You will be part of a team that helps showcase the work of news and severe weather leaders in the Houston marketplace. You will work closely with the news service every day, but will need to take the initiative to amplify what is important to our audience. You need to be prepared to step in and help when the news breaks and when the weather is severe.
Can you take a camera and edit a video quickly? In addition to creating videos for TV, our ideal candidate will also know the nuances of storytelling on Twitter versus Facebook and know what makes a good Instagram story. Being active on TikTok is also a plus!
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects at once. Must be organized with attention to detail!
We are a data driven news station, so you must be curious about analytics and insights. The ideal candidate will pivot when the data says so and think of creative solutions to get results.

News arrives 24/7, so this person should be willing to work any day as needed, including holidays.
