DAYTON / INDIANAPOLIS – The Horizon League announced the League’s television program for the upcoming 2021-22 men’s basketball season on Wednesday, with Wright State set for at least one national television appearance during the League’s roster.

A total of eight Horizon League games will be broadcast on ESPN linear networks, including five during the regular season. Again this season, three games will be wildcard selections to ensure the best possible game.

Wright State’s home game against Cleveland State on Friday, Jan. 28 will be a 9 p.m. warning on ESPNU. The Raiders are also involved in a pair of wildcard games, both on the road, from February through Friday February 11 in Milwaukee and Friday February 18 in Oakland.

All 2022 games will be part of the League’s “Anything Can Happen Friday” campaign and fans can follow on social media using #HLMBBonESPN. Last season, the average margin of victory was just over six points per game with two contests decided at the final buzzer.

Continuing a relationship that began with the 1988 Midwestern Collegiate Conference Men’s Basketball Championship game, the entire Horizon League Men’s Basketball Championship in Indianapolis will appear on the ESPN Linear Networks at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. . The action begins Monday, March 7 with Semi-Final # 1 at 7 p.m. ET and Semi-Final # 2 at 9:30 p.m. ET with both games on ESPN2 or ESPNU. The Championship game on Tuesday, March 8 will air on ESPN or ESPN2 at 7 p.m. ET.

ESPN + continues to be the home of the League’s live streaming game content, a relationship that began in the 2014-15 season. The Horizon League has scheduled to broadcast every basketball game in the League for the industry’s top 15 consecutive seasons, starting its streak in 2007 with the groundbreaking Horizon League network.
