Musical movies can be a pretty love-hate genre when it comes to movies, but (if you’re a fan) sometimes there’s nothing better than a good old-fashioned sung session.

Classic musical films like The sound of music, to more recent versions like In the heights and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, musicals have been a fan favorite for decades. Plus, a slew of reboots means we’ve recently been treated to refreshed versions of older titles, including West Side Story and A star is born.
